More Quilts...Thanks to Shelbert

Thank you, Michele, for bailing me out with your fine photography. My over excited brain caused me to forget to photograph this little girl's quilt. It received a second place ribbon.

...and this stack-n-whack style that used rose fabric earned another second place...
They had the quilts displayed so that it was difficult to shoot straight on...except the girl's quilt that was folded on a table with several others instead of hung up...what's with that !?!?

A Quilt for Mama-Lady, Part Deux

WooHoo! Another winner!

This one is Reserve Grand Champion (that means the second best quilt entered).

Yippee!

I WAS SO EXCITED, I FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE OTHER TWO I ENTERED!

A Quilt for Mama-Lady

You all know that I picked Mom for Christmas this year, so here is the gift I gave. I'm going to go to her house someday and have two people hold this up so you can see the whole thing. Sometimes when I'm quilting, my ideas get away from me...

Another Quilt for a Baby

This quilt is for Jack's sister Jill's granddaughter, Montana. She is already a year and a half, but I made it twin size so she can use it forever! She should receive it on Monday, I hope!

A Quilt for PAGRS

I made this quilt for P-doobie. It was intended for her birthday, but I did not finish it in time. I gave it to her when Chuckbert and JerBear were here, then asked for it back so I can enter it in the County Fair in August. YIKES! Poor Pagrs won't get it till after it wins a ribbon (I'm a little sure of myself, eh?).

Erito Burrito Quilt

Izzy sent me pix of Erito's quilt. Remember...it was the first one I finished. I still have the first one I started, which will be mine someday! I had planned to hand quilt it, but since it is king sized and I don't have a quilt frame, I was beating up the batting, so I decided to machine quilt it. Sometimes when I have spare time, I get it out and quilt, but I haven't made much progress. So enjoy this one...

Who is this handsome lad...? ! ?

Quilts, Quilts and More Quilts

Since I've been sewing a lot lately and it's been primarily quilt piecing, I thought I would show some of the quilts I've made for the past few years. I wish I had taken pictures of Erito's quilt. It was the first one I made and I don't have photos. Following is the one I made for Chuck. I plan to do this one again sometime.

Here's Jerry's...

I've made more than my share of baby quilts, so enjoy these!

There are some more, and don't you fret, if you haven't received one from me, you will. It will be a surprise when they come! I'll post more later. It's amazing to me when I start looking at them, how many I've made. I have four going right now, and three are ready to be quilted.
