We took off this morning to show Alison's parents and brother Bandelier. When we reached the visitor center, they were evacuating buildings due to a bomb scare. We stayed in the shade for about an hour before they sent everyone home: one.car.at.a.time. They were waiting for bomb sniffing dogs to arrive so they completely closed the park. What a bunch of wackos live and survive in this world!

I'm sorry your day was ruined. I hope there was no real bomb. People are mean!
We've had disappointed visitors in the store all day. Independence Day is one of Bandelier's biggest days of the year.
What a shame that Alison's family didn't get to see Banldelier. It's such a special place. Did you hear any more about jthe bomb scare?
