Oldies! "Red Green Yellow and Blue" by Dickie Lee

Holy Moly! I found this song on YouTube. I think it came out in 1968 and I've been looking for it since then. Something about it stuck in my mind all these years. Ain't the internet great?

WHOA ! ! ! NEW PAINT!

Jack went up to Chimayo to pay the guy for painting this car. Look at how amazing it is! Jack says it looks like glass. They put some of the emblems and trim on after it cured and now it's painted the true two-tone BelAir style. That is... what is above the chrome trim along the side is white and what's below is turquoise. Jack said that half of the car enthusiasts from Northern New Mexico came by the painter's house to take a gander at it.

...AND I get V-8 trim below the taillights since it now has a V-8 engine...



I can't wait to get it back! The guy who's restoring it is taking it back to his house to start putting all the rest of the trim and interior back together. We have the seats in the garage that were upholstered with the original style fabric, so I hope to get it back in another couple of months...but who knows ? ! ? After 7+ years, it's hard to say.

WHAT THE . . . . SNOW ? ! ?

...Springtime in the Rockies! And on my birthday yet! Bratling remembered a snowstorm on my birthday when she was just a little girl. Here she is a grown up Little girl and it's happening again!

Rowdy and I took a walk when it was snowing the hardest. As I write, the sun it out!

I went up to Chimayo yesterday and he's the inside of the trunk painted the pure bright white it will be:

I was told that if the weather is calm on Tuesday and Wednesday, the rest will get painted. We are going with the true Bel Air two-tone with white above the trim (trunk and top) and turquoise below. The interior will be turquoise, too. We've gotten the interior already; it's made from the original style fabric, carpet and headliner. I'll post pictures of the seats that have been completed soon.

Wilson Shouts ‘You Lie' After Wife Fakes Orgasm

Breach of Congressional Decorum, Experts Say

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) courted controversy again today as he reportedly shouted "You lie" during a sexual encounter in which his wife pretended to have an orgasm.

While details of Rep. Wilson's latest outburst are sketchy at best, congressional experts say that it is totally against the decorum of the House of Representatives to speak out during a spouse's faked orgasm.

But the South Carolina congressman got a vote of support from a fellow Republican lawmaker, Sen. John Ensign (R-NV), who told reporters, "It's so rare for a Republican politician to have sex with his own wife, we should applaud it when it happens."

In a related story, President Obama said that Rep. Wilson's outburst during his speech Wednesday night was "productive," adding, "Joe Wilson highlighted the need for mental health care."
